The problem

Why single-action creams disappoint

Most acne creams attack one front. Antibacterial-only gels kill Cutibacterium acnes but leave the skin inflamed and irritated; harsh keratolytics dry and peel the skin until people stop using them. Acne that keeps coming back needs the infection controlled, the inflammation settled and the skin barrier repaired at the same time — which is exactly how AcneHide Gel is put together.

Mechanism

Three actives, three jobs

Clindamycin phosphate stops the bacteria driving the breakout. Nicotinamide brings the redness and swelling down and helps regulate sebum. Allantoin keeps the treated skin calm, soft and healing — so the course is comfortable enough to actually finish.

01

Clear the bacteria

Clindamycin 1% — a topical lincosamide antibiotic that halts protein synthesis in Cutibacterium acnes, the organism at the centre of inflamed pimples and pustules.

02

Calm the inflammation

Nicotinamide 4% — an anti-inflammatory vitamin B3 derivative that reduces redness and papule swelling and helps moderate sebum, without breeding antibiotic resistance.

03

Soothe and repair

Allantoin 0.1% — a skin-protectant that softens, soothes and supports healing of the treated skin, countering the dryness that makes people abandon acne treatment.

Protocol

A thin layer, as your physician directs

  1. Wash the affected area with a mild cleanser and pat dry.
  2. Apply a thin layer over the affected area as directed by your physician — typically once or twice daily.
  3. Keep the gel away from eyes and mouth; replace the cap tightly and store in a cool, dry place. Do not freeze.
  4. Complete the course your physician prescribes — stopping at the first improvement is how acne comes back.
Weeks 1–2

Settling

Active pimples begin to dry and flatten as bacterial load falls and inflammation starts to ease.

Weeks 3–6

Clearing

New breakouts become fewer and smaller; existing lesions heal with less redness.

Weeks 6–8

Consolidating

Skin settles into its clearer state — your physician decides how long to continue to keep it there.

Honest screening

Is AcneHide Gel right for you?

We would rather tell you the truth up front than sell you the wrong thing.

A good fit if you…

  • Have inflamed pimples, papules or pustules on face, chest or back
  • Hold a prescription from your doctor or dermatologist
  • Want an antibacterial treatment that doesn't punish the skin around it
  • Will finish the course rather than stop at first improvement

Not suitable if you…

  • Have severe nodulocystic acne — that is dermatologist territory, and a different medicine
  • Have a known allergy to clindamycin or lincomycin
  • Expect a cosmetic concealer — this is a treatment, not a cover-up
  • Intend to use it without any physician's direction

Questions

Straight answers

Do I need a prescription?
Yes — the pack itself says so: not to be sold by retail without the prescription of a registered medical practitioner. Order on WhatsApp, share your prescription there, and the tube is dispatched on confirmation.
How is this different from AcneHide 20?
AcneHide 20 is oral isotretinoin — a serious dermatologist-supervised medicine for severe acne that DrMeds deliberately does not sell online. AcneHide Gel is the topical: clindamycin, nicotinamide and allantoin applied to the skin for mild-to-moderate inflamed acne.
Why three actives instead of one?
Because acne is three problems at once — bacteria, inflammation and a damaged skin surface. Clindamycin clears the first, nicotinamide settles the second, allantoin repairs the third. Single-action gels leave two of the three untreated.
Can I wear moisturiser or sunscreen over it?
Yes — let the gel absorb for a few minutes first. A non-comedogenic moisturiser actually helps you tolerate the course; sun protection is good practice on treated skin.
How long until I see results?
Topical clindamycin-nicotinamide combinations typically show visible improvement over 4 to 8 weeks of consistent use. It is a course, not an overnight fix — your physician sets the duration.
What should I avoid while using it?
Contact with eyes and mouth, harsh scrubs and peels on the same area unless your doctor layers them deliberately, and stopping midway. If irritation is more than mild, tell your physician.
